Student Success Center
The Gillette College Student Success Center fosters student achievement by providing individualized tutoring that empowers students to reach their full academic and personal potential while encouraging a supportive and inclusive environment. The Student Success Center collaborates with college staff and the community to provide available guidance and resources that enable students to reach their educational and personal pursuits while becoming lifelong learners.
The Gillette College Student Success Center is a service provided by Gillette College. The purpose of the Student Success Center is to provide tutoring services to any student currently enrolled in a class or classes at Gillette College and/or NWCCD (Sheridan College).

Supplemental Instruction (SI)
Supplemental Instruction (SI), created at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, is a non-remedial approach to learning that supports students toward academic success by integrating “what to learn” with “how to learn.” SI consists of regularly scheduled, voluntary, out-of-class group study sessions driven by students’ needs. At Gillette College, our professional tutoring team leads supplemental instruction sessions for specific courses.
