Our testing proctors are here to assist you throughout your college experience. Many tests and testing options are now available in an on-campus or remote format, including the common college credit placement test known as ACCUPLACER.

Our testing center adheres to the Professional Standards and Guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association.

Students are encouraged to schedule testing appointments 24-48 hours in advance to guarantee a seat. If a student must cancel their test, please contact the testing center.

The following tests are offered:

• Student Tests:
  • ACCUPLACER (placement tests)- Reading and Math: $10/test
  • HESI A2 (Entrance exam for the nursing program): $75/test
  • HESI LPN-ADN (Entrance exam for 2nd year nursing program):  $75/test
  • CLEP (College-level Examination Program): $20/test
  • Non-Gillette College student proctored exam: $20/test
  • Faculty tests with accommodations – Letters outlining the accommodation must be received from the Student Success ADA coordinator prior to exam administration.
  • HiSET (High School Equivalency): $5/test
  • Please note:
    • Any unforeseen closures will be communicated via email to the faculty and staff.
    • Testers need to present an updated/unexpired valid photo ID prior to testing. Valid IDs are:
    • Student ID, driver’s license, military ID and passports.
• Licensure/Certification Tests:
  • PearsonVue: Offered Tuesdays and Thursdays

  • HiSET (High School Equivalency): $5/test if not in the Gillette College Adult EducationProgram. Offered Wednesdays

  • Prov (Wyoming Cosmetology exam): Offered Mondays
    

  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence Testing): Offered Mondays

  • PRAXIS (certification testing for individuals entering the teaching profession): Please call for monthly test date
  • Please note:
    • Test candidates testing through the following companies will be notified by the company of any unforeseen closures – HiSet, Pearson Vue, PROV and PSI
    • Licensure/certification tests require a current, valid government ID. Depending on the type of test being administered, more than one ID may be required.
    • Accommodations for tests must be made through the host test company prior to testing.

• The Testing Center is monitored and may be video recorded to promote academic integrity, maintain a safe and secure testing environment, investigate reported incidents, and support compliance with college policies.
• Recordings are accessed only by authorized College personnel and are handled in accordance with applicable College policies and federal privacy requirements.
