Book Advising Appointments by Student Type
What type of student am I?
New Student
If you have never been enrolled in a class at Gillette College or haven’t taken a class in the last 12 months, you are considered a NEW student. You can only register with the Professional Advisor of your school. Career and Technical Education (CTE) program students must register with the CTE Advisor. Arts & Sciences program students must register with A&S Advisor.
Current Student
You are currently enrolled in classes at Gillette College or have taken at least one class in the last 12 months. You can register for classes online with your faculty advisor or a professional advisor.
Dual Enrollment / Concurrent Student
You are currently enrolled at a high school in Campbell County or home-schooled and are taking credit for both high school and college credit. You can only register for classes with an Enrollment Specialist. Questions? Contact admissions@gillettecollege.org
Athletes
In order to maintain eligibility, you can only register with the professional advisor. Meet with your coach for advising assistance prior, if needed.
Military-Affiliated
If you are a military-affiliated student (Veteran, Reservist, Active Duty or a dependent), you can only register with a Veteran Advisor. Contact Veteran Services at 307-681-6462.

New students in Technical Careers programs (Business, Diesel, Electrical, Engineering, Machine Tool, or Welding) are advised by the Career and Technical Education Professional Advisor.
New students in programs that are NOT Technical Careers or Nursing are advised by the Arts & Science Professional Advisor.

Current Students with Holds
If you have any holds on your account, they must be resolved before you are able to register for classes:
- Library
- Business Office
- Judicial
- Orientation
Once resolved, you can register for classes online or with your faculty advisor.
Academic Probation*
Your grades have dropped below 2.0. You can only register for classes with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisor or Arts and Sciences (A&S) Professional Advisors.
